BRIEF

Help Lenovo bring a unique voice to their social presence and create share-worthy content that lives out the brand mantra.

APPROACH

Rebuild their social strategy from the ground up to speak and act more like real fans, while at the same time infusing a new brand platform and assisting in rolling it out to client and agency partners around the globe.

SOCIAL GUIDEBOOK

Creating a social guidebook for creatives and community managers we were able to start the process of rolling out Lenovo’s new tone. Filled with guidelines and more importantly creative examples, it was shared around the globe.

FB LIVE TORTURE TEST

Utilizing Facebook Live, software we developed, a digital switcher and emojis as a voting mechanism, people were given the option to choose the object for each test. The custom software connected multiple controllers and displays via web sockets, giving us the ability to monitor voting, respond as the Thinkpad, display graphics and control music and sound effects in real-time.

 Would people choose a lollipop or branding iron? Weedwacker or rock tumbler? Paintball gun or peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Our torturer set the objects on the table, and our Thinkpad egged people on in real time.

At the end of the day, our broadcast reached over 260,000 fans and introduced a new way to use Facebook Live.
