A nice robot, unlike his cousin skynet, eB2DO is an internet connected experiment and twitter personality for the BBDO Chicago office. With an array of sensors including temperature, light, vibration, motion and two push buttons eB2DO helps out by tweeting the temperature of the office in the morning, sends a shout out when there’s free food up for grabs and spouts off random updates and facts about the office.

With his sensors wired through an arduino running firmata, eB2DO’s real brain runs on processing which listens for different date and time events as well as button and motion inputs.

eB2DO’s ultimate goal is to inspire other creatives to use social media in new and interesting ways. He’s recently made appearances outside the office at the Maker Faire.
