BRIEF

Take Verizon Instagram followers behind the scenes of the 2015 NFL Draft, as they follow the story of 3 prospects.

APPROACH

We brought the story to life through sequential storytelling while using the Instagram grid in an unexpected way. To further capitalize on the real-time nature of the Draft we didn’t finalize the story until the moment our prospects name’s were called, immediately cranking out the final scene and bringing fans premium content at the peak of conversation.

Real-time conversation moves quickly, so when Melvin Gordon III was picked 15th in draft we customized, rendered and posted our story before the next player was drafted, capitalizing on the trending moment.

This project was in collaboration with McGarry Bowen, filming content and Erwin Penland leading the Instagram implementaion.
