WHY A BOOK?
Education and Art have been passions of mine for quite some time. During my time at SCAD pursing my MFA I realized there was a better way to teach children color theory.
A NEW TAKE
Colors is purposefully designed to help kids learn more at a younger age by pairing a playful children’s book and coloring book that utilizes unique characters to help them more easily recognize relationships and concepts.
THE STORY
Colors takes little ones on a journey with Red, Blue and Yellow. Three paints that magically come to life one day in an old painters studio. They and their friends will playfully illustrate the basics of color theory, going deeper than any children’s book before. They’ll bounce and blend, dance in the color wheel and discover their complementary colors in this charming story.
KICKSTARTER
My co-author Andrew Cherry and I ran a kickstarter to support the project. Building buzz and getting the word out we’re now seeking publishers and partners to take the book to the next level.
